The top of the record, and what it buys
The published figure is three hundred and ninety nine dollars a month with fifty calls included and additional calls at seven dollars each. Fifty calls is a meaningful inclusion where fifty minutes is not, which is the argument for pricing in calls.
At seven dollars a call the overage is moderate against the per-minute market once calls run past about three minutes, and it does not rise with length at all. For a practice running long booking or intake conversations that is a genuine hedge.
The plan price is nonetheless six times the lowest in this record, and the fifty-call inclusion is what has to justify it. A business taking twenty calls a month is paying roughly twenty dollars a call before any overage, which is where a pay-as-you-go provider would be substantially cheaper.
